Strings at Terrey Hills Public School - Our String program continues to grow from strength to strength. We have violins, cellos, violas and double basses in our program. The strings are divided into three ensembles – the String Orchestra, Mezzo Strings for our second year players and POCO strings for our littlest beginners.
We are delighted that we have had the opportunity to combine our Strings program with our band program to create the Terrey Hills Symphony Orchestra. It is very rare for a Primary School to have a full orchestra with String, Winds and Percussion players, especially in a school our size. We have delighted the parents at the end of year 3-6 Presentation assembly with an amazing performance of ‘Cumberland Cross'.
