String program

Our String program continues to grow from strength to strength, with students on violins, cellos, violas and double basses. The strings are divided into three ensembles – the String Orchestra for our established players, Mezzo Strings for our second year players and POCO strings for our littlest beginners. 

We are delighted that in the past we have had the opportunity to combine our Strings program with our band program to create the Terrey Hills Symphony Orchestra. It is very rare for a Primary School to have a full orchestra with String, Winds and Percussion players, especially in a school our size.
