Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

At Terrey Hills Public School, we offer a nurturing learning environment where every student is known valued and cared for. Students are supported to reach their full potential both academically and personally. Located on over 4.2 hectares of spacious, natural grounds on Sydney's Northern Beaches, our vibrant semi-rural setting provides a unique backdrop for learning.

We engage students in their learning journey as they strive for academic excellence within a community that promotes respect, kindness, and a strong sense of belonging. Building on the solid foundations that our students bring from early experiences of learning through play and curiosity at home, our passionate and dedicated educators combine explicit curriculum teaching with inquiry-based learning, challenges, technology, and real-world experiences to foster knowledge, skills, and interpersonal growth.

Our strategic priorities focus on targeted quality teacher professional development, providing a range of innovative learning opportunities, and building unique educational partnerships. These priorities ensure that our teaching staff are well-equipped to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the needs of every student.

Through rich learning programs, extension opportunities, extracurricular activities, and community events, we aim to nurture confident, capable young individuals who are prepared to make a positive impact as lifelong learners and active members of our community.

We are proud of the inclusive, welcoming environment here at Terrey Hills Public School, and I warmly invite you to join us on this exciting journey of learning, friendship, and personal growth.
