Community involvement
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
The P&C, or Parents and Citizens Association, is a vital part of Terrey Hills Public School. It is a volunteer organisation made up of parents, carers, and community members who work together to support our school. The P&C helps strengthen the school community by organising events, fundraising, and working with school staff to improve resources and facilities. They also provide a forum for families to share ideas, contribute to school decisions, and foster partnerships between home and school for the benefit of all students.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!
A message from our P&C President
Our P&C plays a key role in supporting the school, strengthening the connection between families and staff, and helping to provide opportunities and resources for our students. I am grateful to be working alongside a committed group of volunteers who care deeply about our school community.
Moving forward in 2026, one area of focus is the school canteen. Our goal is to place the canteen on a more sustainable footing while continuing to provide healthy, affordable, and convenient options for our students.
The P&C is strongest when our community is involved. Whether you can attend meetings, volunteer occasionally, or share ideas, your support makes a real difference. We warmly welcome new members and encourage you to join us at our upcoming meetings.
I look forward to the year ahead and fostering positive relationships, with one common goal, our children.
Together, I am confident we can further strengthen our school and create an environment to help our children thrive.
Notifications of P&C meetings will be in the school newsletter and in the School Bytes calendar, with meetings held in our school library with a zoom link available to join online.
Warm regards,
Carla Williamson - President
Terrey Hills Public School Parents & Citizens Association

Welcome Back BBQ
What an awesome afternoon on our oval. Thank you to all those families who joined us. It was lovely to see so many of our families. Thank you to our Year 6's for running games on the oval.
The ice cream van was a big hit – a cool treat enjoyed by all! We also want to recognise our talented Year 6 students for leading and organising the games, adding to the fun and community spirit. What a great way to start the school year!
K-6 Cross Country Carnival
A big thank you to our P&C President, Carla Williamson and her Yr 5 parent helpers, for manning the BBQ and cooking nearly 100 sausage sizzles yesterday.
Congratulations to all students and everyone who contributed to making this year’s K-6 Cross Country a wonderful community celebration of health, effort, and school spirit!
P&C Mother's Day Stall
On Wednesday 6th May, the P&C held our annual Mother's Day Stall, which was a chance for students to buy a special gift for their mums and carers. The stall was a huge fundraising success and we hope those gifts put smiles on all your faces!
A special thanks goes out to our tireless organisers from Years 3 and 4: Reen, Ashleigh and Vanessa, and our set-up and stall volunteers: Emma, Andrew, Ben, Amanda, Emily and Caroline who assisted our organisers. We simply cannot run these events without the support of our volunteers, and your time and efforts are so appreciated.
Paint & Sip Evening
This year we tried something new, and hosted our first ever Paint & Sip experience as a Mother's Day event on Friday 8th May. With paint supplies, food and atmosphere provided, a group of THPS mums, along with a few friends and past parents, gathered for an evening of relaxation and fun. With a solid fundraising contribution and the feedback so positive, we lookforward to holding it again next year!
